Taken from the Newcastle Airport Masterplan for development up to 2035, these slides show how noise levels would affect more people if the expected traffic were to materialise.  This ambition may now be shelved for a very long time given the severe economic damage to the Airports viability arising from the pandemic.

However, the plan reveals the extent of the Airport's ambition to add value to the Airport for shareholders irrespective of the noise impact and the effect on the environment and global warming.  It's made changes before without proper consultation with the people affected by those changes.
