Our campaign got started in 2017 when the noise became a serious problem because the flightpathg management changed
Until September 2026, we used to meet with airport managers and executives along with local councillors and others to discuss the noise issue and t ry to make things better.
The Airport has now switched exclusively to using its difficult-to-use WebTrak online system for making complaints which we know will stifle complaints.
Aircraft Noise Action won't provide a fig leaf for this so we have withdrawn. The Airport immediately shut down the Noise Sub-committee - no surprise to us!

The campaign is run by volunteers.
We have recently joined forces with action groups and campaigns concerned with climate change and environmental damage to campaign against the airport's plans to almost double passenger numbers.
